Booker T. Washington said . . .

"There is another class of colored people who make a business of keeping the troubles, the wrongs, and the hardships of the Negro race before the public. Having learned that they are able to make a living out of their troubles, they have grown into the settled habit of advertising their wrongs -- partly because they want sympathy and partly because it pays. Some of these people do not want the Negro to lose his grievances, because they do not want to lose their jobs....There is a certain class of race-problem solvers who do not want the patient to get well, because as long as the disease holds out they have not only an easy means of making a living, but also an easy medium through which to make themselves prominent before the public."

Could he possibly have had premonitions about people such as Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton?

If you don't have a VPN, get a free VPN, now! Encrypt the Internet.

If you don't have a VPN, Opera offers free VPNs for Mac, Windows, Linux, Android, and IOS. There's no excuse to NOT use a VPN. If you don't know what a VPN is or what it's used for, read up on it.
Click on this line for one of many sources for information on what a VPN is.

Just so you know, paid VPNs are usually better than free VPNs for various reasons. Read about that, here.

Having said that, ANY VPN is better than NO VPN. (famous for their wonderful browser) offers a free VPN. Below are links to Opera's free VPN. Select the one for your operating system.

Whitehouse Mexican beats up autistic American Indian for wearing a Redskins Shirt

There are some things that liberals should keep their nose out of (like, pretty much everything).

Thin Optics - Try 'em. Nothing to lose except bulkey readers.

I got a pair of these from my eye-care provider. They were $20. If you click my referral link, below, you can get them from thinoptics at a discount, and free shipping within the continental US.

They are covered by a lifetime replacement guarantee (simple registration required, no spam). They're well worth buying.

Drop them in your purse; put them in your pocket; carry them in your wallet (they have a hard case); carry them on your keychain (they have a keychain case available); stick the case to your cell phone, or to your computer monitor, or to just about anywhere. They're very convenient, especially if you don't have regular reading glasses handy.

Give them a try. They have a 30-day money-back guarantee. They come in various colors, and strengths. What do you have to lose?

Pondering . . .

Does anyone read this blog?

Due to circumstances (mostly) beyond our control,  we had to buy a work truck. We bought a 2007 Ford Explorer 4X4. Now,  by this time of year,  we usually have a fair amount of snow, and we were looking forward to a bit of fun testing the truck's capabilities.  But,  we've pretty much had rain.  I'm going to be a bit disappointed if we don't get some substantial snowfall,  this winter . . .

It was a wonderful Christmas. We got all of the family together, which hasn't happened in quite a while.

Need seeds . . .

Well, I have a, perhaps odd, request. Is there anyone who reads my posts that has some non-GMO, non-hybrid, "heirloom" seeds of any type of vegetable which would grow well in central Indiana that you would be willing to give away? I don't need many, just some to start out. I'm also looking for some asparagus, onion, and garlic. If you're local, I'd be happy to come and get whatever you're willing to give. If you wish to mail some, let me know, and I'll provide you with my mailing address. Just, please, make sure that whatever you give is non-GMO, non-hybrid, "heirloom". I want to be able to harvest some seeds and give away, myself. Thanks!

Red Crucible 2

I play an online game called Red Crucible 2, sometimes. The game has some fair graphics to it. But, I've never seen this, before. It's the aftermath of one of the characters being run over by a tank:

Let the takers know!

Anybody who doesn't believe that just about every company will do this is truly naive. EVERY business in America that's affected by this SHOULD let the takers know what they've done. . .
